Setting it up
- Open Notifs and tap the broadcast button. Confirm the system sheet that iOS puts in front of you.
- Switch to whatever you want to keep an eye on. Notifs keeps working in the background.
- Pick your tone and the number of vibrations. Both preview themselves as you choose.
Start monitoring without opening the app
Notifs adds a Shortcuts action, Start Notifs monitoring. In Shortcuts → Automation → New → App, choose the app you want to keep an eye on, pick Is Opened, turn on Run Immediately and add that action. Opening that app then brings up the confirmation sheet on its own. iOS always requires the final tap; no app can start screen capture without it.
No alert arrived
- Is the broadcast still running? iOS shows a recording indicator while it is. The app's main screen says Monitoring.
- Is the phone on silent? The alert uses a system sound, and the silent switch mutes it. Vibration still fires.
- Are the free alerts used up? Without a subscription five alerts a day make a sound. After that it is still shown on the lock screen, silently, and the lock screen says so once.
- Are notifications turned off? The sound still plays, but nothing is left on the lock screen. Notifs tells you on its main screen when this is the case.
Subscription
Notifs Pro removes the daily limit: $4.99 a month, or $49.99 a year with three days free.
To subscribe, open Settings in the app — the gear in the top right — and tap Upgrade. The same screen has Restore purchases, which is what to use after reinstalling or on a new iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account.
To cancel or change a plan, use iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling there stops the renewal; the subscription keeps working until the period you already paid for ends.
Refunds
All purchases go through Apple, and only Apple can issue a refund. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Requirements
